M-Audio DMP3 Preamp Review

M-Audio DMP3I bought the M-Audio DMP3 Dual Microphone/Instrument Preamp a few months ago to add another two preamps to my system. I chose this preamp because of my positive experience with the preamps in my M-Audio Omni Studio, which are reportedly based on the DMP2, predecessor to the DMP3. Toontrack Drumtracker

Evidently, they’ve been busy at Toontrack. Yesterday they announced a standalone host program for EZ Drummer and Superior. Today they announced a new product called Drumtracker, an audio-to-midi converter so you can do drum hit replacement like Drumagog. After Drumtracker launches in January 2008, Toontrack products will cover every aspect of sample-based drum production.
