Auto-Tune in XP x64
I had mentioned before that I’d tried to install the Auto-Tune 5 demo in x64 and it refused to install, and that my email query to Antares was never answered. Well, two months later, I finally received an answer when this strange little email drifted into my SPAM folder.
I apologize for the delay in replying to your e-mail. We recently changed
our e-mail service provider to a more reliable host and your e-mail was
misdirected due to a lack of proper mail handling from our old e-mail
service provided. We made the decision to move to a new e-mail host so that
we would be able to avoid service interruptions like the one we have just
experienced which caused the temporary loss of several of our support
request e-mails. Our goal is to answer all new requests for technical
support within one business day and I am truly sorry that you have had to
wait so long to receive a reply to your e-mail form submission. The change
over to the new e-mail host has now been completed and we have managed to
retrieve all of the missing e-mails from our old e-mail host. The trouble
with our online submission form e-mails has been resolved and any future
support requests submitted through the e-mail form in our online
Knowledgebase will be delivered on time to our support mailbox. You can
access the form using this link: http://www.antarestech.com/contactAuto-Tune 5 is not currently compatible with 64 bit Windows and we do not
currently have a version being developed specifically for 64 bit Windows.
It is possible that there may be an update to the Auto-Tune 5 software in
the future that will allow for 64 bit compatibility. If you would like, I
can send you an e-mail as soon as there is any news from our software
development team about a 64 bit Windows version of Auto-Tune?
Please let me know when you have some free moments.
Thank you.
This has to be the strangest “helpdesk” reply I’ve ever seen. I just don’t know what to make of it, except that I’ll have to look elsewhere for my auto-tuning needs.
