Thanks for the pointer to GSnap. I've set it up in my LiveProfessor "virtual rack" and in Reaper under Windows 7 x64, and it works beautifully. Although LiveProfessor indicates that GSnap introduces a 10ms delay, I certainly can't hear it, at least on my system (Acer Aspire 7740, i330m proc, 4GB RAM). All I hear is the plug in doing its job of keeping my awful voice in tune!

Hey everyone who is using audacity, to get gsnap working, put the file "Gsnap.dll" or something like that in ur plugins folder in audacity but before doing this, set audacity to scan for vst the next time audacity is started. Now restart ur computer and reopen audacity give it about 20 seconds and then import the file u wish to edit. A nice thing i like in gsnap is first reversing the file and then go in to gsnap and choose notso, let it run then reverse the file again. Hope it works im using vista.

Unfortunately I ran into the same thing... The problem comes in because they have a driver trying to install with the plugin presumably for licensing or something similar... With x64 (XP or Vista), ALL drivers and services have to be 64-bit, that's just the way it is... Same reason I couldn't run Motorola phone tools for the longest time, the software itself wasn't a problem but the driver for the phone at the time was 32-bit only so it wouldn't install... Just FYI for the people with 64-bit OS's...

steveman64, put the file in your VST Plugins folder (usually C:\Program Files\cakewalk\vstplugins) and then restart Sonar. You should then be able to insert the plugin on tracks just like you would insert an EQ or compression plugin.
